Job summary

Ampirical is seeking a Field Technician I in Covington, GA to support pole inspection projects and on-site field tasks. No prior experience required; training will be provided, and you’ll work with a crew to carry tools, record data, and maintain a safe, organized worksite.

The role emphasizes outdoor work in varied weather, physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs), and a professional attitude. A valid driver’s license is required and 4/10s or 5/10s schedules may apply.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • No prior experience required; training provided.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Physically able to walk long distances, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians during pole inspection projects.
  • Carry and handle tools, equipment, and materials needed on site.
  • Record and organize inspection data under supervision.
  • Mark poles, attach identification tags, and perform basic ground-level tasks.
  • Ensure the worksite remains clean, safe, and organized.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and traffic/work zone protocols.
  • Support the crew by performing general labor and helper duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.

Your Role: Field Technician I
