Job summary

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is seeking a safety-focused Field Technician / General Labor to join our Midwest team. You will perform hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck duties, and assist in job-site setup, all while prioritizing health and safety.

We offer weekly pay, a $1,500 sign-on bonus, medical/dental/vision/life insurance after 30 days, 401K with 4% company match at 90 days, a referral program, paid CDL training, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Driver's license with clean record.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Safety-conscious with strong work ethic.
• Willing to work varied hours, on-call, and travel as required.
• Maintain equipment and company property in good condition.
• Able to pass pre-employment and random post-accident substance screening.
• Respirator use may be required based on customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority on all jobs.
• Learn and follow safety, operational, and company rules from designated representatives.
• Operate hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck as directed.

The position SES is looking for a safety-focused Field Technician / General Labor to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to:
• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority.
• Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities.
• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydro-blasting equipment and vac-truck operation.
• Assist in the setup and tear down of the job site.
• Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

What we are looking for

• A driver's license and a clean driving record are strongly preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work varied hours and on an on-call basis and travel as required
• Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in proper condition.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
• Use of respirators (including fit testing) may be required based on specific customer needs to meet project safety requirements.

Essential Physical Job Functions

• Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions.
• Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
• Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters.
• Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as respirators, safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection.
• Must be able to climb ladders, and work from stationary platforms at elevated heights.
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
