Overview
This role supports network operations in the Eugene, Oregon market and surrounding locations in Central Oregon by applying technical knowledge to maintain and improve network performance and reliability. It involves providing technical assistance, managing smaller projects, and contributing to operational process improvements. Understanding of radio access networks, backhaul, signaling, disaster recovery, data services, and location-based services is required. Success is measured by effective technical support, timely project updates, and identification of process improvements. The work directly impacts network stability and service quality for organizational and customer needs.
Main responsibilities
- Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts
- Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required
- Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management
- Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians
- Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards
- Develop yourself through continuous learning – completing training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and product in order to grow skills and to expand proficiency in alignment with organizational values and requirements.
- Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent relevant field experience required. Candidates without degrees who have strong technical or field experience are encouraged to apply.
- Acceptable areas of study include Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in field operations, maintenance, or related technical roles
- 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Electronics (Required)
- Basic operational knowledge/understanding and theory of all interconnecting circuits to include but not limited to RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio and AC-DC power systems.
- RAN – Radio Access Network equipment – Experience/Familiarity with Nokia and/or Ceragon RAN technology is a plus
- Attention To Detail (Required)
- Problem Solving - Solves problems using creativity and innovation. (Required)
- Computer Fluency with ability to use programs such as Microsoft Office (Required)
- Understanding of Internet Protocol. Ability and willingness to incorporate AI into preparing solutions for and while triaging logical components.

- Self‑motivated; exhibits initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
- Basic leadership skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility with ever‑changing environments and priorities.
- Flexible hours are a must. Day and night work is part of the job, as well as being part of an on‑call rotation for the Denver market, which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds as well as being outside in the elements is an expected part of this role.

Compensation
National Base Pay Range: $27.16 - $48.99
Corporate Bonus Target: 10%
