Precision Pipeline Solutions, LLC is seeking an Electric Field Technician for full-time field work across the NYSEG service territory. You will perform visual inspections and stray voltage tests on electric distribution structures, with company-provided PPE, Toughbook, and cell phone.

Travel throughout the service area is required; mileage and tolls are reimbursed. The role offers paid training, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to walk 3-7 miles daily on all types of terrain.
• Willingness to learn Electric Distribution and Transmission systems.
• Enjoy working outdoors in various weather and terrain.
• Valid Driver’s License for at least one year and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate appropriate structure using Toughbook information.
• Conduct visual inspection and stray voltage test using established criteria.
• Record inspection and test results in the Toughbook.
• Adhere to PPS safety standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks safely with professional integrity.
• Adhere to PPS dress code.
