Job summary

Valid8 Financial, Inc. is seeking Field Technicians to install firestopping, sealants, waterproofing, and air barrier systems on new and commercial buildings. You will report to the site foreman or superintendent on a temporary basis and contribute to project specifications.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be comfortable at heights and in all weather, and able to lift up to 75 pounds; construction experience is preferred, but motivated entry-level applicants are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Basic tools and materials knowledge.

• History of attendance and reliability.
• Ability to solve problems with limited direction.
• Knowledge of jobsite safety rules.
• Construction experience preferred, but entry-level candidates encouraged.
• Experience with caulking, waterproofing, insulation, firestopping, or similar trades is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install firestopping at wall joints, slab edge and penetrations.
• Install joint sealants at interior finish locations, building exterior and exterior paving conditions.
• Install sheet and fluid applied waterproofing systems.
• Install sheet and fluid applied air barrier systems.
• Install interior and exterior expansion joint systems.
• Utilize basic hand tools as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Field Technicians work in new and commercial buildings doing installations, curtain wall insulation, waterproofing, joint sealants, air barriers,fireproofing, fire stopping, expansionjoint, and perimeter joints. They will report to the siteforeman(temporary role, but not a fulltime position),General Foreman or the Superintendent and use knowledge to execute projects to specifications.

• Working knowledge of commercial construction jobsite safety rules
• Construction experience preferred, but motivated entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.

Education:
