Job summary

Sparus Holdings in Columbia, SC is seeking a Field Technician – Gas Utility Survey to detect natural gas leaks, analyze data, and provide professional customer service. The role involves outdoor work and reporting, with a path to contribute to community safety.

You will operate safety equipment, locate leaks, and communicate findings to clients while upholding high standards of service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Passion for environmental safety and commitment to protecting the community.
• Tech enthusiast with hands-on experience; phone and computer knowledge counts.

• Physical stamina to work outdoors, walk 5+ miles a day, bend, crouch, kneel, and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Personal vehicle for daily work use.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $18 per hour with guaranteed automatic $0.50 increases at 60 and 180 days.
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision plans; accrued paid time off from day 1; paid holidays; mileage reimbursement.

Work Schedule

Full time, Monday to Thursday, 7am – 5:30pm.
