Job summary

Circle K in Rockford, IL is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems across multiple locations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and chemical delivery systems, install and service conveyors and pumps, and support safety compliance and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Three (3) years of maintenance experience required.
• Experience with industrial equipment preferred, tunnel car wash experience favored.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and chemical delivery systems.
• Install, maintain, and replace conveyors, pumps, motors, blowers, dryers, water treatment equipment, and related components.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and emergency service calls.
• Travel throughout an assigned district using a company vehicle.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and lockout/tagout procedures; document work performed and communicate status.
