J&J Calibration, an Accredited Labs company, is hiring Calibration Technicians to join our team in Horace, ND with hybrid work options. Trainable for entry-level candidates, we emphasize attitude, learning spirit, and precise calibration across lab and client sites.

Travel up to 60% to customer locations is required; you will handle routine and complex calibrations with strict adherence to procedures, ensuring high-quality service and documentation for every job.

We are seeking Calibration Technicians of all levels to join our J&J Calibration, an Accredited Labs company!

We prioritize attitude and potential over prior experience, and we're prepared to mentor the right candidate. Experience in our industry is not required, and training will be provided upon hire. Making this position suitable for both entry-level candidates and those with experience.

Location:

Hybrid, at our J&J branch office in Horace, ND and on-site at various customer sites.

60% Travel

Basic Qualifications

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to travel to customers' locations in the Horace, ND and some overnight out-of-state travel. There is a potential for up to 60% travel.
• Comfortable driving large trucks/vans

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely calibrations in the lab and on customer sites
• Perform routine and complex calibration on various equipment per company processes and instructional documentation
• Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures, standards, and protocols
• Working directly with clients with good communication to provide client updates on services needed
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
• Maintain calibration activity records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and to date
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
• Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Nice to have

• Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
• Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
• Technical Degree or Certificate
• Military PMEL Training
• Metrology experience
• Experience with IndySoft
