EchoStar is hiring technicians to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products at customers’ homes. You will teach customers how to use their tech, promote additional services, and uphold a professional, independent work style while staying connected with the team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

You’ll visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home tech.

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Skills, Experience and Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Driver’s License: This position requires a valid driver’s license because driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function of the job.
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed; flexible to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical Ability:
  • Climb ladders (up to 40 ft)
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
  • Must meet and maintain 335 lb weight limit
• Customer Focus: Build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-Solving: Tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination: Work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability: Handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease
