Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a field technician to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products at customers' homes. You will travel to client sites, solve problems, and educate customers on using their new tech.

You’ll work independently yet stay connected with the team, ensuring a high-quality customer experience and ongoing satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required to drive company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices.
• Willingness to travel; flexible to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
• Physical ability: climb ladders up to 40 ft, lift up to 70 lbs, meet 335 lb weight limit.

Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

You’ll visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home tech.

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Skills, Experience and Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• Valid Driver’s License: This position requires a valid driver’s license because driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function of the job.
• Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed; flexible to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical Ability:
  • Climb ladders (up to 40 ft)
