Job summary

4 Horn Industrial is seeking a Field Technician to support client service projects and repair of industrial equipment in the Houston/La Porte area. You will travel to customer sites, troubleshoot, install equipment, and ensure systems are fully functional.

The role requires at least 2 years' refinery or petrochemical experience, a TWIC card, and the ability to work independently or in a team, with strong safety practices and physical stamina for lifting 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with equipment in refinery/petrochemical facilities.
• TWIC Card required.
• Ability to maintain safe, organized and clean working environment.
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and prioritize tasks.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Testing and repairing equipment by traveling to the location of the customer.
• Providing troubleshooting as well performing installation of equipment.
• Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required.

• Sometimes they have to provide telephone support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting.

JOB TITLE: Field Technician

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Technician position supports the branch, and client, in service projects and all repair of industrial equipment needs. This position ensures that all rental equipment repair and service project needs of the branch are conducted in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner. This role provides a great opportunity to learn and grow within our service department and beyond.

• Minimum of 2 years experience working on equipment & working in refinery/petrochemical facilities
• TWIC Card required
• Must have ability to maintain safe, organized and clean working environment
• Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
• Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment, to prioritize and accomplish assigned projects.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and kneel for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.
