Job summary

Allied Technical Services is hiring a Field Pump Technician in Marengo, OH (outside Columbus). The role offers on-the-job training and a clear growth path, with pay starting at $18–$20/hour and 40 hours per week plus overtime.

You will install, operate, and service temporary pump and piping systems, load and transport pumps, and work at job sites across Central Ohio with some regional travel. A company vehicle is provided; PTO, benefits, and in-house training are included.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience in construction, utilities, maintenance, landscaping, or similar work.
• Willingness to perform physical outdoor work with safety equipment provided.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Experience with forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and service temporary pump and piping systems.
• Load, unload, and transport pumps and related equipment.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, or similar machinery (training provided).
• Complete basic documentation for rented equipment.
• Work primarily at job sites across Central Ohio, with some regional travel (OH/KY/IN).
• Participate in an after-hours/on-call rotation (scheduled in advance).
