Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Traffic Control Apprentice to join our safety-first team in Texas. You’ll gain hands-on experience with traffic control operations, flagging, and site setup under supervision, helping keep roadways safe for workers and the public.

Requirements include 3–6 months of related experience and the ability to lift 80 lbs. A current DOT certification is preferred. This role offers growth opportunities within a national organization with a local team.

Qualifications

• Passed general knowledge test(s) – Temporary sign, Lane Closure, and Flagging.
• Current DOT certification.
• Able to lift 80 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Able to load & unload dispatch trucks.
• Capable of following specific directions from supervisor with acute attention to detail.
• Should exhibit good judgment in the field, including safe work practices around live traffic, and adhere to the company policy at all times.
• Ability to operate motorized hand tools and equipment required.
• Able to accurately use rulers and calculate measurements.
