Astro Pak is seeking motivated individuals for an Associate Field Technician role, traveling across the country to perform precision cleaning and passivation on mission-critical systems. You’ll receive immersive training and work with experienced technicians in diverse facilities, with opportunities to advance into senior technician or leadership roles.
This position requires extensive travel (80%+), night shifts, and a strong safety mindset.
Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company's Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico. As an Associate Field Technician, you’ll travel to cutting-edge facilities across the country while learning a specialized technical trade used in industries like aerospace, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and advanced manufacturing. $3,000 Sign‑On Bonus
What You’ll Experience This is not a typical entry‑level job. It’s a traveling technical career path . You’ll receive immersive training and work alongside experienced technicians performing specialized chemical cleaning and passivation on mission‑critical fluid and gas systems. Every project is different. One week you may be working at a semiconductor facility, the next supporting aerospace manufacturing.
Travel requirements: 80%+ travel nationwide 30–50% night shift work Over time, weekends, holidays, and short‑notice travel may be required

Compensation: The pay for this position typically has a starting rate of $20-$21. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
