Qualifications

• Must have a mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with driving record meeting insurance requirements.
• Effective communication skills (listening and comprehension).
• Basic knowledge of a 4 cycle natural gas engine and its components.
• Knowledge and experience with tooling, hand and pneumatic.
• Awareness of safety when handling tools around engines and compressors.
• Basic mechanical principles and mathematics.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor/management or lead technician (mentor).
• Work safely and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Demonstrates satisfactory productivity for the assigned task.
• Complete required paperwork including labor reporting and documentation of quality control and material movement.
• Performs required Preventative Maintenance activities as directed by supervisor.
• LO/TO of every job assigned and reviewed with crew.
• Must own basic tooling as listed.
