Job summary

Pace is seeking a Field Technician in Newburgh, NY, with Monday–Friday hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM to support environmental sampling and testing across air, soil, and water. Travel along the East Coast is required, with some overnight stays.

You’ll collect samples, document results, and help ensure compliance with applicable laws. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a driver’s license; prior lab or environmental experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
• Comfortable operating a company vehicle with GPS/telematics tracking.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer and environmental testing sites.
• Collect, process and test environmental samples (air, soil, water).
• Perform field services with standard environmental practices.
• Prepare vehicles and equipment for daily field operations.
• Maintain logs, forms, and documentation accurately and timely.
• Support implementation of field programs to meet needs.
