Cardinal Civil Resources is seeking a Survey Field Technician - Instrument Operator to support field surveys, staking, and data collection on pipeline projects. You will work with a small crew in field environments, reading plans, handling instruments, and ensuring accurate measurements.

The role requires travel to various job sites, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to work in varied weather while maintaining precise data collection and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have land surveying experience and strong math foundations.
• Proficient use of surveying instruments and calculators.
• Able to read plans, blueprints and maps.
• Able to travel daily and work in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate total station and data-collection devices in field surveys.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents.
• Maintain field notes and organize digital data files.
• Support field crew in staking, marking, and topographic or boundary surveys.
• Ensure safety meetings and proper procedures are followed daily.
