Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Instrument Operator to join our Survey Practice in South Florida. The role supports land survey projects with a field-based position that requires regular overnight travel.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years of surveying experience and proficiency with Trimble equipment. Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient with Trimble survey equipment and other basic survey field equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain required certifications.
• Willing to travel for overnight and extended stays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ALTA surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, utility surveys, construction layout, and telecom surveys as directed by field crew leader.
• Operate survey equipment in the field with accuracy and professionalism.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and adhere to safety regulations.
