McAdams is seeking a Crew Chief I to supervise survey crews and manage daily field tasks across projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida. The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to McAdams'' guidelines, and safe field operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver''s license, and demonstrated experience with surveying tools, reading plans, and mentoring junior staff. Weekend work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver''s license.
• Successfully pass a motor vehicle records check, drug test, and functional assessment.
• Must be able to work outdoors and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise survey crew tasks across project stages.
• Ensure field tasks follow company guidelines and safety standards.
• Read construction plans including storm drainage, sewer, grades, and contours.
• Identify plan and computation issues and communicate status to management.
• Act as field company representative during client interactions.
• Maintain field notes and data files for office use.
• Mentor junior crew members and ensure daily task completion.
