American Engineering is seeking a dedicated Rod Person to support party chiefs and instrument personnel in land surveying and construction staking. You will prepare equipment, assist field operations, set stakes, collect data, and uphold safety and accuracy on diverse job sites.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prefer experience in surveying or construction, and possess strong attention to detail. This is a full-time role based on-site with equal opportunity employment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in surveying, construction, or utilities preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and work in a team.

Mansioni

• Assist the Party Chief and Instrument Person with land surveying and construction staking tasks.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for field operations and ensure they are ready for daily assignments.
• Set stakes and marking descriptions; verify legibility and accuracy of markings.
• Collect field data and ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency on site.
• Return tools and equipment to storage, maintain PPE and field readiness, and follow end-of-day procedures.
