Job summary

Ethos Risk Services seeks an Experienced Field Investigator to conduct surveillance and investigations to identify potential fraudulent insurance claims. You will perform stationary and mobile surveillance, collect video and photo evidence, and prepare thorough reports for clients.

Work requires early starts, up to long hours in a vehicle, weekends and holidays, with occasional travel. A Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one is required, along with a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

Experience in covert surveillance techniques and thorough investigative reporting.
Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
Private Investigator license or willingness to obtain one where required by state.
Reliable personal vehicle preferably with tinted windows.
Handheld camcorder with zoom and covert camera; stabilization gear encouraged.
Reliable laptop, cell phone and internet access for admin tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare for surveillance by reviewing case information and prelim reports.
Conduct field surveillance from your vehicle, capturing high-quality video evidence.
Draft detailed, court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and findings.
Finalize case files and upload video footage and reports by end of day.
Coordinate with field supervisor and operations for guidance and mentorship.
