  • Complete basic repairs and light maintenance tasks to support reliable daily operations.
  • Troubleshoot technical and operational issues using established procedures and documentation.
  • Identify potential safety hazards, equipment concerns, or site deficiencies and take appropriate action.
  • Document completed inspections, maintenance work, and site conditions accurately and on time.
  • Escalate technical or operational issues promptly to the appropriate teams and provide clear details to support resolution.
  • Communicate professionally with Zipline teams, customers, and partner representatives while working onsite.
  • Travel between assigned Zipline Drop Boxes and provide support at other regional locations when needed.
  • Take ownership of site issues and follow through until they are resolved or transferred to the appropriate team.
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong hands‑on technical or mechanical aptitude, including comfort performing light maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • A safety‑first mindset and the ability to identify and report potential hazards.
  • Strong ownership, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A customer‑first mindset and the ability to represent Zipline professionally at partner locations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete assignments with limited supervision.
  • Comfort using smartphones, mobile applications, and digital tools to document work and communicate updates.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Previous experience in field support, facilities maintenance, equipment service, or a technician role is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 36 months.
  • Reliable personal vehicle for traveling between assigned sites.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather and site conditions.
  • Ability to travel or commute between regional sites as business needs require.
  • Availability to work one of the designated schedules: Tuesday‑Saturday or Thursday‑Sunday.
  • Ability to commit to a six‑month contract, with the potential to transition into a full‑time position based on performance and business needs.
What Else You Need To Know

The starting hourly pay range for this role is $18–$28. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and business needs.
