Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services in Rockville, VA seeks a Supervisory Operations Lead to oversee field crews on spills, projects and closures. You will coordinate safety, scheduling and regulatory compliance while ensuring quality and timely execution.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred and 40-hour HAZWOPER training is available. Expect collaboration with management, customers, and regulators.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL license preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in related industry.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (training available).
• All applicants must pass pre-employment requirements: physical including drug & alcohol screening and background check.

• Ensure the proper use of equipment and materials.
• Liaison with customers and regulatory agencies.
• Aid management and marketing staff with presentations and sales initiatives.
• Develop new business and service lines as required.
• Respond to all types of emergency response incidents 24 hours a day/7 days a week as required when on standby.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe and secure worksite through following all safety protocols.
• Supervise work crews completing operational duties at spills, projects and other job sites.
• Work alongside Senior Management at job sites.

• Prepare waste for shipment and delivery.
• Ensure the proper use of equipment and materials.
• Liaison with customers and regulatory agencies.
• Aid management and marketing staff with presentations and sales initiatives.
• Develop new business and service lines as required.
• Respond to all types of emergency response incidents 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week as required when on uncontrollable standby.
• Coordinate and prioritize area resources to maximize efficiency.
• Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL license preferred.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in related industry.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, preferred. (training available)

• Equipment used: emergency air monitoring equipment, emergency response equipment, radio communications equipment.

Salary Range: $26.03 - $33.80 hourly

Pay Range

$27.40 - $43.75 / hour
