Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations in foundation repair and related groundworks in Rush City, MN. You will supervise onsite construction, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget objectives are met.

You will mentor field staff, enforce OSHA standards, and coordinate with project managers to deliver high-quality results. Employee ownership and growth opportunities are core to our program.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in construction supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete leveling.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
  • Excellent understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project schedules.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to uphold Groundworks’ standards of professionalism and customer service.

  • Communicate updates with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Oversee logistics including equipment, materials, and site access.
  • Mentor and support field staff and junior superintendents to develop their skills.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control related to field operations.
  • It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.

The Superintendent leads and oversees all field operations related to foundation repair, basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and concrete lifting projects. Working Conditions
