Job summary

Utili-Serve in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated Substation Technician to assist with the construction and modification of electrical substations. This hands-on role operates under direct supervision in a physically demanding environment that includes confined spaces, elevated work areas, and exposure to energized equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in construction or a related field, with 100% travel to project sites.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in construction or related field
100% travel required
Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and dynamic environment
Knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, and applicable codes

Responsibilities

Construct and modify electrical substations in accordance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
