A staffing solutions provider is looking for a Solar Commissioning & Repair Technician to work in the Distributed Generation Operations department. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, along with 2+ years of experience in solar PV installation or commissioning. The technician will be responsible for commissioning and repairing solar facilities and must be available for travel up to 75%. A valid driver's license and proficiency in working with electrical systems are essential. Competitive hourly wage between $32.00 and $37.00 based on qualifications.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; an associate’s degree in electrical technology or solar energy helpful.
2+ years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation or commissioning.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
Execute commissioning plans for new DG solar installations.
Diagnose and repair issues with PV modules and inverters.
Communicate daily site status and outstanding issues to project management.
Skills
Hands-on experience in solar PV installation or commissioning
Working knowledge of DC and AC electrical systems
Proficiency with electrical test equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Experience with single-axis tracker platforms
Education
High school diploma or GED
