Job summary

Ice Solutions seeks a Field and Shop Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and prepare tanks and related equipment in the field and shop locations. You will monitor brine systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure readiness of Ice Solutions equipment for deployment.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Travel is required, CDL not necessary, with work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools; troubleshoot basic mechanical problems.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work in shop and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the assigned region to inspect tanks and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections of tanks, valves, piping, pumps, hoses, and fittings.
• Identify leaks, damage, wear, and maintenance or repair needs.
• Install, replace, and repair valves, fittings, hoses, piping, and parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting on brine systems.
• Check and verify operation of tank monitoring systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely; occasional overnight travel may be required.
