Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an HVAC Technician 1 to professionally deliver and install portable HVAC equipment, train customers on safe use, and assist with shop duties. The role includes equipment testing, paperwork, and maintaining logs of stock and rentals.

A valid license, basic math skills, and a willingness to work after hours are required, with an on-site location in Utah. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a service-related role interacting with customers
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required

Responsibilities

• Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment and trains the operator or customer on safe use
• Communicates professionally with customers, managers and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls
• Directs customers to sign paperwork and keeps track of serial numbers
• Troubleshoots operation, function and controls of equipment
• Operates company vehicle safely and adheres to safety policies
• Prepares and tests returned equipment for rental and maintains shop organization
