Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Field Services Technician who will provide on-site field support for region projects, reporting to the Field Office and traveling to sites during the day. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on equipment handling, and customer satisfaction.

A high-school diploma or equivalent is required, a valid driver's license is preferred, and the job may require up to 50% travel to project sites. Respirator use may be necessary after proper training.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Must be clean shaven to don respirator as required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Prepare necessary supplies, tools, and equipment for transport to worksite
• Cleans and scrapes the inside, and assists with removal of underground chemical storage tanks; prepares waste for disposal
• Provides demolition labor of contaminated buildings and land sites; operates excavation and filter press equipment
• Operates small hand tools and provides other construction-related assistance during projects
• Decontaminates company equipment and tools
• Loads, unloads and samples drums; responds to emergency spills as needed
• Maintains the ability to travel up to 50% of the time to project sites
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
