Job summary

ECS is seeking a Field Services Technician to join our Gulfport, MS team. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs) as a maintenance technician, including pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission tasks.

Responsibilities include supporting payload integration, system checkout, and ensuring mission readiness while maintaining thorough documentation and coordinating logistics for USV platforms and spares. Travel to Galveston, TX is possible.

Qualifications

Job Description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Field Services Technician to work in our Gulfport, MS office.

This candidate must diagnose and repair Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USV) as a maintenance technician. This includes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00

Required Skills

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Performs equipment preparation, inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance in support of Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) operations.
• Conducts cable fabrication, battery handling and servicing, inventory management, and logistics support to ensure operational availability of USV platforms and spares.
• Executes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance for USVs to support safe, reliable, and sustained operations.
• Supports payload integration, system checkout, and mission readiness verification prior to deployment and during operations.
• Maintains technical documentation, maintenance records, and configuration tracking for USV platforms and payload systems.
• Provides operational support for land-based, pier-side, and vessel-based USV operations, including deployment and recovery activities.

Desired Skills

• Experience with maintenance of USVs and technical documentation.
• Occasional travel to Galveston, TX.
