Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Field Services Supervisor to oversee field crews and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for internal and external customers.

The role emphasizes health and safety, supervising crews to meet specifications, and maintaining strong customer relations while coordinating with the project manager to address contract changes and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hazardous waste field experience.
• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Due to potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, candidates must be clean shaven to don a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites; ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Supervise site crew to ensure work meets consultant and customer specifications; optimize efficiency.
• Oversee crew safety, ensure proper PPE use and safe practices.
• Keep customers informed of job progress and maintain good customer relations.
• Complete daily paperwork for labor, equipment, supplies, and materials; inform project manager of usage changes.
• Serve as backup for crew positions as needed; supervise emergency response teams as required.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and discipline decisions.
• Take on additional duties to support the team and organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Field Services SupervisorAs a Field Services Supervisor you will be responsible for providing oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Provides supervision of site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications; performs each job in the most efficient manner possible
• Oversees the safety of the crew, ensuring employees are wearing proper safety equipment and following safe work practices
• Keeps customer informed of job progress; answers any onsite questions and maintains good customer relations
• Completes daily paperwork to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated documentation; keeps project manager informed of changes in usage from contract
• Serves as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed
• Supervises emergency response teams as needed
• Participates in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and discipline decisions as needed
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education
