Job summary

Arcwood Environmental, LLC is seeking a Field Services Supervisor to oversee field crews and equipment at customer sites across the region. You will ensure safety, build strong client relations, and manage day-to-day field operations from the office to project sites.

Responsibilities include supervising field staff, maintaining safety procedures, documenting usage for billing, and coordinating regionally with the Field Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hazardous waste field experience required.
• Due to exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, candidate must be clean shaven to don a respirator.

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Oversee crew safety, ensuring proper PPE usage and safe work practices.
• Keep customers informed of progress and maintain strong customer relations.
• Complete daily documentation tracking labor, equipment, supplies, and materials for billing and reporting.
• Serve as backup for crew positions and support emergency response teams as needed.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and discipline decisions.
• Take on additional duties to support the team and organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Field Services SupervisorAs a Field Services Supervisor you will be responsible for providing oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

Location/Schedule: The position would report to the Field Office and then be dispatched out to projects in the region during the day. Report back to theoffice at the end of the day.

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Provides supervision of site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications; performs each job in the most efficient manner possible
• Oversees the safety of the crew, ensuring employees are wearing proper safety equipment and following safe work practices
• Keeps customer informed of job progress; answers any onsite questions and maintains good customer relations
• Completes daily documentation to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated documentation; keeps project manager informed of changes in usage from contract
• Serves as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed
• Supervises emergency response teams as needed
• Participates in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion and discipline decisions as needed
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
