Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Field Services Manager to lead our Gainesville, FL field operations for construction materials testing. You will staff, schedule, ensure safety, and drive performance across field teams.

Reporting to project management, you will mentor Team Leaders, coordinate with department leadership, support client interactions, and help grow the business while maintaining ECS core values.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintain basic certifications per ECS policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Understanding of construction materials testing and field operations.
• Ability to evaluate testing methods and results for spec compliance.
• Strong operational and organizational management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage competing demands.
• Proficiency with electronic devices and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supervises, and mentors Team Leaders and field staff.
• Oversees day-to-day operations of the field services group.
• Ensures field operations are properly staffed, scheduled, and executed.
• Manages workforce planning, staffing levels, and recruitment needs.
• Oversees scheduling operations and ensures all project requests are fulfilled.
• Promotes and enforces safety policies and a strong safety culture.
• Oversees equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory processes.
• Reviews field reports and may provide senior-level review of deliverables.
• Supports and assists with project execution, issue resolution, and technical challenges.
• Prepares proposals and supports project management activities as needed.
• Coordinates with Project Managers and Department leadership.
• Attends project meetings and supports client interactions.
• Drives business development, marketing, and client relationship efforts.
• Assists in monitoring and managing department financial performance.
• Performs other operational and leadership duties as assigned.
