Job Title: Field Service Technician - Pittsburgh, PA

Cognizant is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support healthcare IT environments in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a contract/temporary role offering competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide hands-on support for end-user hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, focusing on clinical and warehouse settings.
2. Travel to remote clinics to install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
3. Install and maintain clinical peripherals such as medical printers, barcode scanners, and label printers, complying with healthcare standards.
4. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues; escalate complex problems appropriately.
5. Support audiovisual equipment, telemedicine tools, and video conferencing systems.
6. Maintain accurate documentation for service tickets, site visits, hardware inventory, and software licenses.
7. Collaborate with IT and vendor teams for escalations, upgrades, and hardware procurement.
8. Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards like HIPAA and GDPR.
9. Participate in IT deployments, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades.
10. Provide support outside regular hours for critical site visits or system go-lives.
11. Build strong relationships with customers and team members.

Qualifications:

• Technical degree preferred.
