Job summary

Tesco Controls is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead and support on-site commissioning and startup activities for water and wastewater control system projects. You’ll troubleshoot instrumentation, calibrate sensors, and perform pump/motor control start-ups in dynamic field environments.

Join a team focused on reliable infrastructure projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining safety and quality documentation. Ability to travel and be on-call is required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or high school with relevant experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting safety rules and manuals.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Experience speaking to groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Configure parameters and troubleshoot VFDs.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems from ladder schematics.
• Calibrate and verify instrument loops and sensors.
• Start-up commissioning of pump/motor controls.
• Inspect/commission/calibrate instrumentation and sensors.
• Wire modifications to panels per drawings.
• Site installations of electrical devices and motor controls.
