Job summary

Archrock is seeking a field technician to perform maintenance and repair on gas compression and process equipment at customer locations. You will act as a technical resource for more complex issues and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You'll lead a team on Major Maintenance, Overhaul, MOB/DEMOB projects with minimal assistance, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical problems, submit documentation promptly, and comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance/repair of gas compression equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and work with minimal supervision.

• Performs Preventative Maintenance (PM) to standard with no help.
• Performs most Call-Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert; diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple types of equipment.
• Leads a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul and MOB/DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance.
• Completes and submits the required documentation accurately and quickly.

Essential Duties

• Performs most Call-Outs (CO) without assistance from a technical expert. Diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems on multiple types of equipment including compressor packages, gas process and power generation equipment used within the region.


• Leads a team performing Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul and MOB / DEMOB projects to standard with limited to no assistance.


• Completes and submits the required documentation accurately and quickly.
