Job summary

Blanchard Machinery Company is seeking a Field Service Technician (Energy) to diagnose, repair and maintain engines and power generation equipment in the Longs, SC area. You will interpret schematics, troubleshoot and perform needed maintenance to ensure reliable performance for customers.

The role requires experience with electrical power generation and CAT diesel engines, along with a valid driver’s license. A strong emphasis on safety, quality reporting and on-site professionalism is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical power generation/electronics experience; CAT diesel & natural gas engines experience preferred.
• Experience with CAT diagnostics software (SIS) or similar systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain engines and related electrical systems safely and accurately.
• Interpret drawings and schematics; troubleshoot using logical steps.
• Order replacement parts and maintain a complete service report promptly.
• Prepare and test equipment prior to delivery; ensure professional appearance and on-site readiness.
