Job summary

Gt&e Llc is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair paving and material processing equipment at customer sites. You will perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fixes, rebuild components, and ensure optimal performance while documenting work and parts used via mobile apps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in servicing heavy equipment, particularly paving/material processing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
• Perform repairs, component rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments to restore performance.
• Document service reports, repair logs, and parts usage via mobile apps.
• Identify required parts and coordinate with parts department or vendors.
• Interact with customers on-site, provide updates, and deliver excellent service.
• Train customers on equipment maintenance and operation as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment on job sites and in service vehicle.
• Maintain and secure tools, diagnostic equipment, and service vehicles.

Purpose:The Field Service Technician – Paving & Material Processing is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing paving and material processing equipment.
