Job summary

Amcor is seeking a field service technician to provide onsite maintenance and repair for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and related packaging equipment at protein processor plants in Wisconsin. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and willingness to travel up to 75% with a valid license.

You will perform preventative maintenance, participate in start-up and installation tasks, and contribute to design feedback.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology or similar discipline preferred.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in food packaging industry (material & machinery).

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment to maintain optimum performance.
• Assist in installation and start-up of packaging equipment.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain accurate reports on work activities and time utilization.
