Job summary

LiftOne is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will travel locally and work independently while delivering reliable service and keeping equipment productive.

The role values hands-on mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problem-solving skills, with training provided. A clean driving record and a customer‑focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the material handling industry or related automotive/diesel/military/heavy equipment mechanics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Experience with ServiceMax or similar CMMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment (gas, diesel, LP, and electric).
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers using our work order management system.
• Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Represent LiftOne with professionalism and pride in every customer interaction.
