Job summary

Stiles Machinery in Hartford, CT is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, troubleshoot, train, and support customers on advanced machinery and software, with regular travel to customer sites. You will diagnose issues and provide hands-on service, ensuring uptime and performance.

You should have strong technical, electrical, and mechanical skills, plus two years of technical schooling or related hands-on experience. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical schooling in electronics or related field.
• Experience with CNC, PC-based controls, or machine service.
• Willing to travel regionally four days per week.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and instruct customers on technology represented by Stiles.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in the field.
• Document work performed, problems encountered, and customer concerns clearly and promptly.
• Recommend improvements pertaining to reliability, performance, and long-term operation.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and serve as a technical partner and problem solver.
