Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in material handling, seeks knowledgeable customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join our Crown team in Rock Hill, SC. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and repair lift trucks, perform scheduled maintenance, maintain a service van and its inventory, and process paperwork after job completion.

A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license are required; a technical degree and related welding or testing

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Preferred: technical degree and welding experience.
• Able to read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Familiar with testing equipment and various tools.
• Industry related training is preferred.
• Able to read and understand service manuals and plans.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
