Job summary

Culligan Water Conditioning of Lexington SC is seeking a service technician to perform installation, service, and repair of Culligan water treatment products in homes and small businesses in the Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA metro areas.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, equipment upgrades, and using a tablet to complete tasks and billing while maintaining a professional image and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and HVAC/plumbing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50-75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, analysis, and repair of Culligan equipment in homes or businesses.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain water treatment systems.
• Use a company provided tablet to manage daily tasks and billing.
• Assist with delivery and installation work as part of a team.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment and ensure safety compliance.

Culligan Water is seeking an individual to provide installation, service, and repair of Culligan products in homes and/or businesses. Our products include water softeners, drinking water systems and solutions for problem water in the Columbia, SC and Augusta, GA metro areas.

The service technician provides repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and installations for Culligan equipment and products in customers' homes and/or businesses. The technician's goal is to provide the maximum amount of quality service to Culligan customers.

Responsibilities

• Performing all diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner
• Installing, upgrading, and maintaining equipment
• Using a company provided tablet to complete daily schedule of tasks, and submit billing.
• Assisting other employees with the delivery and installation of products/equipment. Must be able to work within a team.
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Communicating positively with customers and maintaining positive public relations for the company
• Following all rules and regulations about safety and Culligan policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Plumbing experience is highly preferred. Applicants with experience in HVAC, and construction are encouraged as well
• Minimum two years of installation and maintenance experience preferred, but we will take the right person to train
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be a good listener
• May require lifting/moving equipment from 50-75 lbs
