Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Control Systems) to install and service our machines at customer sites. The role requires substantial travel (~65-80%), and hands-on work with electrical cabinets, PLCs, and software.

You will perform installations, service visits, troubleshooting, and project supervision while training customers and colleagues. You will bring a strong electrical background, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude, with a willingness to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering; or a vocational level degree with several years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical cabinet (re)build, software installation/configuration, and/or troubleshooting PLCs.
• Affinity with process engineering and/or food production is a plus.

As a Field Service Engineer Control Systems at JBT Marel, your most important responsibility is to install and maintain our machines at our customers. Customer satisfaction, preparation, executing the job, and reporting are important characteristics in this job. Having a strong electrical background and troubleshooting skills are essential for the job.

On a Given Day, You May

Prepare and execute the controls (electrical cabinets/software/PLC) part of installation-jobs.

Conduct service visits.

What We Are Looking For

You are passionate about technology, like to travel and have a real service attitude. You are independent, flexible and stress resilient. Furthermore, you like to work hands-on, have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.

Have a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or automation engineering, or a vocational level degree in the same area with several years of relevant experience.

Have experience with or an interest in electrical cabinet (re)build, software installation/configuration, and/or troubleshooting PLCs.

Affinity with process engineering and/or food production is also a plus.

Are willing to travel (~65-80%).
