Job summary

Ascentek is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair state-of-the-art vehicle wash equipment at customer sites. The role includes assisting with installing new equipment and maintaining parts inventories on a company vehicle.

You will work with customers to explain operation and maintenance, observe safety and procedural standards, and travel occasionally for service calls. A high school diploma and relevant technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience servicing Vehicle Wash equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic Systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) compute devices.
• Experience with electrical circuits, both low & high voltage.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office | Smartsheet | Service Pro.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic analysis and repairs on state-of-the-art vehicle wash equipment.
• Assist in the installation of new vehicle wash equipment as necessary.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts on company-provided vehicle.
• Maintain tools and test equipment in a professional manner.
• Observe internal and external processes, policies, and procedures governing service delivery.
• Consult with customers on operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel.
