Job summary

Morris and Associates in Garner, NC is seeking a Field Service Technician II/Millwright to install, service and repair complex process cooling equipment at customer sites.

The role requires a formal technical program and 3+ years of field experience; travel, strong problem solving, blueprints literacy, and safe work habits are essential. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service experience or equivalent with formal technical training.
• Ability to install, service and repair mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean Driving Record and professional conduct at customer sites.
• Weld stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
• Trouble-shoot electrical systems and replace components as needed.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings for installations.
• Respond to breakdowns with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
• Practice safe work habits and document field activity.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel frequently, including international assignments.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Maintain reports using computer/phone in the field.
