Job summary

The Field Service Technician I at Andersen Corporation supports homeowners by repairing and maintaining Renewal by Andersen products in a field-based role. You will travel in a company vehicle, diagnose issues, perform cost-efficient fixes, and document parts and actions for the team.

You should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years of window installation experience. Strong communication and basic computer skills (Word/Excel) are expected.

• Basic math, writing, and computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Ability to handle confrontation tactfully and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair previously installed Renewal by Andersen products.
• Analyze customers' situations, determine corrective action, and verify it fixes the issue cost-effectively.
• Keep team informed of customer interactions and actions taken to resolve service issues.
• Provide accurate part descriptions, including part numbers, to Service RSR.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and inventory.
• Provide Signature Service to homeowners and peers.
• Basic knowledge of RbA window and door installation techniques and ability to correct installation errors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
