Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Field Service Technician I to join our Field Services team in Wisconsin. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in working safely, isn't afraid to get dirty, and wants the opportunity to build skills in the environmental services industry.

You will perform a variety of tasks, including cleanup and preparation for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, operating equipment and tools, and maintaining safety standards on job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Walk, stand, sit, and climb throughout the workday.
• Able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Able to wear a full-face respirator.
• Willing to travel 10-25%, including overnight travel.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean up and prepare waste for transportation.
• Load and unload tanks and tankers with bulk liquids.
• Package and prepare hazardous and non-hazardous materials for transport.
• Operate pressure washers, hand tools, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, pneumatic tools and other equipment.
• Inspect equipment, hoses, and connections before and during work.
• Work in confined spaces, above or below ground, and around industrial equipment.
• Follow OSHA requirements and local regulations.
• Represent Reworld at customer sites, independently or as a team.
• Complete required safety and job-related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
