Job summary

National Carwash Solutions seeks a Service Technician I (FST) to perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on vehicle wash equipment, learning core troubleshooting under supervision. Position emphasizes safe work practices, accurate documentation, and strong customer service on-site in the St.

Louis area. You will perform routine service tasks, assist in part repairs, inspect systems, and communicate maintenance needs to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Demonstrable interest and aptitude in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to use basic math and writing skills.
• Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in 5 years; no major violations.
• Ability to travel assigned geography daily.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and instructions.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service work on vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting.
• Assist in replacing, repairing, or adjusting parts and systems as necessary.
• Inspect, calibrate, and check chemicals under supervision.
• Run equipment through cycles to ensure basic system functioning.
• Provide basic information to customers regarding operation and maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment changes through training and manuals.
• Complete work orders, expense reports, and time logs accurately.
• Maintain proper inventory of parts on service vehicles.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
