A leading battery handling company located in Texas seeks a Field Service Technician I to perform troubleshooting and maintenance on batteries and related equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably a technical degree, along with forklift certification and knowledge of electricity. Experience in the material handling industry is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Forklift certification and a current Driver's license (MVR check) needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting and repair of batteries.
• Safely operate a service vehicle and keep it in good condition.
• Conduct planned and preventative maintenance of chargers.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Good understanding of basic electricity/electronics
